Woodforest National Bank^® Opens New Community Center In Aurora, Illinois

The Woodlands, Texas - Woodforest National Bank recently opened a new community center in the revitalizing Aurora, Illinois downtown area located at 140 South River Street, Suite 114. The center includes a full-service depository ATM, and a conference room available for use to community-based organizations.

"Investing time and resources into the communities we serve is a top priority for Woodforest. Our goal is to have community centers like this across our footprint that foster collaboration, and provide a space for ideation sessions with local partners to develop initiatives that strengthen the neighborhoods where we live and work," said Doug Schaeffer, CRA Executive Director, EVP, Woodforest National Bank.

Community organizations who joined Woodforest National Bank leaders for a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony included representatives from Aurora Chamber of Commerce, Aurora Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Aurora Mayor's Office, Aurora Public Library Foundation, Chicago Community Loan Fund, City of Aurora, Hesed House, Invest Aurora, Junior Achievement of Chicago, Northern Illinois Food Bank and Women's Business Development Center.

The onsite full-service depository ATM is available to assist Woodforest National Bank customers with deposits, withdrawals and around-the-clock account access (and non-bank customers with cash withdrawals 24 hours a day). Full-service Woodforest National Bank branches near the community center are conveniently located inside the Oswego, Aurora, and Montgomery, Illinois Walmart stores.

The new Woodforest National Bank community center will house community development officers and retail banking employees.
