Woodforest National Bank’s Financial Education program began in March of 2010 with an objective of providing individuals with valuable information on the basics of banking and personal finance.

Family Promise New Beginnings® Curriculum
Woodforest developed this program with Family Promise® to provide low-income families, including those that may be experiencing homelessness, the tools they need to achieve financial sustainability at no cost. This program is unique and flexible in that it can be taught to a family in a homeless shelter or to groups gathered in a classroom. Family Promise is a 200,000+ nationwide volunteer organization with a mission to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence.

Banking GPS
An online resource developed by Woodforest to provide a valuable three module course covering banking basics, checking account tips and debit card information to better manage personal finances.
